Across BEA’s network, we’ve been hearing from grassroots partners about what’s shifting, where challenges are deepening, where opportunities are emerging, and where folks are seeing critical leverage points. We want to bring these insights into a shared space with you.

Join us on April 29 from 1:00–2:30 PM ET for a community conversation designed exclusively for grassroots and environmental justice groups. 

We’ll come together to:

• Share key themes emerging from BEA’s AI and Alignment working groups and other conversations we’re stewarding. 
• Take a collective pulse on how grassroots perspectives on AI are shifting- what’s becoming clearer, more urgent, or more concerning at this moment. 
• Hear directly from speakers and organizers about what they’re witnessing, navigating, and challenging in real time. 
• Offer narrative frames and resources to support your thinking, strategy, and organizing. 

This conversation will build on the critical work many of you are already leading around data centers and their impacts, while also looking at the larger conversation that frames it: about how power is being shaped in this moment and who gets to govern what comes next. Whether AI is already showing up in your work or you’re just beginning to make sense of it, this space is for you.We also encourage you to share this invitation with other grassroots groups and community leaders who should be part of this conversation.
